HHMW began as every project does--as a great
idea. This idea soon became the creation of
many individual artists who chose, researched,
and then portrayed historical Mississippi writers
through monologues, much like those that have
been performed through theatres and at schools
for years. As performance schedules expanded,
each artist dedicated time to marking their
calendars, traveling, driving their vehicles, or
pitching in gas money when carpooling. True
dedication to this MWG project beyond the call
of duty.

And these artists continue to dedicate personal
time and efforts in portraying famous
Mississippi Authors, but have now taken the
program to the next level with yet another great
idea.
Was It Worth It?, a one-act play, also
created by the performing artists, is in the
making. Instead of long, singular monologues,
characters now interact on stage with humor,
emotion, and historical accuracy.  Performances
are being scheduled.
