Sarsh Mutziger, Storyteller
|

Sarah is a professional storyteller and trainer who has been living in
Meridian for the past 12 years. Some may know her from the
Library where she worked in the Children’s Department for 4 ½
years. She retired from there last year to tell and teach and write
more extensively.
She tells all kinds of stories, for all ages and has been developing
her craft as a professional teller for over 25 years. Sometimes she
writes an original tale.
She began telling while working as a therapist with homeless
mentally ill adults in Boston. Through her clients, she became
involved in using stories as a healing tool. She sees all stories as
journeys that open us up to the web of possibilities that are already
woven into the fabric of life. She says that each life is a story
unfolding.
She teaches storytelling and has a 4 week class that she offers at
the Meridian Activity Center. She is also teaming up with writer and
teller Anne McKee to teach a one day class in June for a peek-a-
boo writing and telling skill building work-shop called “writing and
telling the bones”.
