2025 Writing Workshops Around Mississippi

Finding Inspiration and Community

Whether you’re just starting your writing journey or working toward publication, the 2025 Writing Workshops Around Mississippi offer a unique opportunity to learn from seasoned professionals in the literary field—all across the state.

This exciting statewide series, hosted by the Mississippi Writers Guild, brings hands-on workshops to writers in every region—from the Gulf Coast to the Hills and the Delta to the Appalachian/Black Prairie. Our goal is to make professional writing education more accessible by partnering neighboring chapters and choosing workshop locations that serve multiple communities.

These workshops were made possible in part by the grant from the Mississippi Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts.
