On September 26, 2026, the Mississippi Writers Guild will host a booth at the prestigious Mississippi Book Festival on the Capitol grounds in Jackson. We are looking for passionate members to help us represent the literary heart of our state by volunteering to help at the booth during the festival.
This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow writers, engage with the public, and support the Guild's presence at one of Mississippi's most significant cultural gatherings.
Event Logistics & Schedule
Morning Setup
MWG needs volunteers for set-up and check-in, which begins at 7:00 a.m. All load-in must be completed by 8:30 a.m. to ensure the grounds are ready for visitors.
