The Meridian Chapter of the Mississippi Writers Guild will begin monthly on the 4th Saturday of the month at Meridian Public Library from 1 pm.- 3 pm. Members are welcome to bring snacks. Special meetings like Literary Artists on Stage and Writers in the Round will beheld in various coffeeshop locations around Meridian and updates will be listed on the Meridian MWG Chapter page.

In Memory of June Davidson, Former Meridian Chapter Head
Meridian Chapter Head June Davis Davidson was a regional history author. Her published works included Country Stores of Mississippi and Meridian and she coauthored Legendary Locals of Meridian. She was a dedicated member and former board member of the Mississippi Writers Guild. June lost her battle to Cancer in September 2017. She will always be missed.
