The Meridian Chapter of the Mississippi Writers Guild will begin monthly on the last Saturday of the month at Mississippi Arts and Entertainment Center from 1 pm.- 3 pm. Members are welcome to bring snacks. Special meetings like Literary Artists on Stage and Writers in the Round will beheld in various locations around The Max, including the church on the 2nd floor. In Memory of June Davidson, Former Meridian Chapter Head
Meridian Chapter Head June Davis Davidson was a regional history author. Her published works included Country Stores of Mississippi and Meridian and she coauthored Legendary Locals of Meridian. She was a dedicated member and former board member of the Mississippi Writers Guild. June lost her battle to Cancer in September 2017. She will always be missed.
